I am new to working in New Richmond and have been trying new places in town to eat. Was craving a burger and Champs is just across the street. So I ordered the Burnt Down Burger (with fried onions) online. I am not kidding when I tell you this may have been the best burger I have ever had! It was huge and had tons of toppings on it. I got it with sweet potato fries and they were also delicious. I would not only highly recommend eating at Champs, I would highly highly recommend this burger to anyone!
We just rented out the Greaton room for my husband’s 50th birthday. Shannon helped me tremendously via email and phone to pick out the food, drinks, etc..The room was gorgeous and the bar was perfect size. The room has its own restrooms, which is very convenient. No need to walk through the restaurant crowd.Also, the door to the main bar is able to close if you have little ones like we did running loose. The food was good, I recommend the wings and fruit tray for sure.The room was extremely reasonable priced, as was the food. Shout to Shannon and her team for being top notch. If you are looking for an affordable gathering place with great food and service: Call Shannon and she will take care of everything!!
I enjoy going here when I am visiting my family. The food is always great and the service as well. Never too loud so you can have a conversation. I recommend.
Came in for a late breakfast. Our group of 5 sat at the bar. Service was prompt and attentive. My drink was delicious and I heard no complaints from any others. I ordered the Gouda Burger with sweet potato fries. The fries were crispy with a hot soft center. Practically perfect. The burger was cooked completely and the cheese/bacon/BBQ sauce combo was tasty. I would eat here again.
Hosted a Groom’s Dinner at Champs. The event manager Shannon is fantastic. Great communication and truly excellent at her craft. The food and beverage service was excellent. I highly recommend Champs in New Richmond WI.
It's definitely my favorite Bar/Restaurant in New Richmond. The burgers are the best around since they are very consistent, always flavorful, larger than you'd expect, and unique. The fries are good, but the waffle fries are the best, and Champs Sauce is a must as well. Few cold beers along with the meal, and I'm a happy customer. Enjoy the many selections of Beer in tap and good mixed drinks.
I’ve been on a salad kick lately, so I thought I’d try Champs crispy chicken garden salad. I had door dash deliver. First thing I noticed was how big it was ! This could easily feed 2 people! I love how they use Romane lettuce. It was fresh and crispy. Fresh red tomatoes, purple onion and shredded cheese. Unfortunately my pic doesn’t show the delicious crispy chicken sliced and laid on top it. (I was hungry lol). This was probably one of the best garden salads I’ve ever had. It was so delicious and fresh I barely needed any dressing. If you’re looking for an amazing salad, this is a place to go. You won’t regret it. Thank you champ. Keep up the good work. I’ll be back to try your chicken Caesar salad soon.
We had a huge group of adults and kids. Our servers were excellent!! All of our orders were put in and made fast without any issues! I recommend their cheeseburger! It doesn't look photogenic but certainly tastes great (not frozen). My son ordered the quesadilla and said there were too many onions but it was good otherwise. They had really good beer specials!! Nice big open space and we weren't the only large group. Plenty of parking all around.
